Tomorrow is World Photo Day, a global event that aspires to create positive change in the world through photography. Founded in 2009 by Australian Photographer, Korske Ara, World Photo Day is now a global photography celebration that reaches a social audience of over 500 million people around the world and which inspires photographers to share their stories.
Korske and his team believe that each of us has a responsibility to inspire positive change in the world, whether it’s in our everyday choices or through the organisations we support. By bringing together millions of photographers around the world, World Photo Day connects people in a global celebration that invests back into our local and global communities.
The photo that we have chosen today is one of our team’s favourite images and was submitted to our Caught in the moment competition back in 2014. It was taken by Ramil Sunga and is entitled ‘Best Friend’
